BAC’s Master Billfish Tournament is upcoming as well as the Peskys- both should be fun- Sleeper Dave was out this AM with family pulled out a ince 15/16lb Tail from a paddy up towards the oil rigs— saw something he didn’t expect— a tuna, maybe 15/ 20lbs+ jumping - didn't see any surface or bait being worked just the jumper— twice!, and add to the daily news— customer came in the shop today— his friend, having caught a Striped Bass here in the harbor from the photo looks like a 12- 15lb Striped Bas- sure enough— Wind came up early and stayed west all day— hopeful better tomorrow— Sleeper Vick said 64 degrees here on the beach not much going on other than the local bass , bait/ mackerel hard to find ‍ ‍ Closed on Mondays— Worked on a bamboo rod- walked the dog- Sundays Day of rest— July the 12th 2026— High tropical cloud cover- not too hot not too cold just right— Tides are building with the New Moon next week- Light wind from the South this am- seas looks a little bumpy and gray
